Hey there! I'm Valentin, and this is my personal website where I share my thoughts, projects, and code.

What I Do

Professionally, I specialize in rescuing software and infrastructure projects that have gone off track. I’m less about inventing the next big thing and more about making sure what’s already there actually works.

I’m a big believer in keeping things simple, getting the fundamentals right, and choosing proven solutions before jumping on the next shiny new trend.

In my free time I'm usually trying to learn something new or working on various personal tools and projects.

I’ve been interested in computers — both software and hardware — for quite some time now. My curiosity is pretty broad, so over the past 20 years I've ended up trying and learning a lot of different things.
